Intro to Ceramics

After wanting to for what seemed like ages, I started (about a month and a half ago) taking an intro ceramics class at the community college. Although I felt fairly out of my depth at first, having never really done very much 3D work, it's been a ton of fun learning the process and getting experience in a new medium. There's a pretty steep learning curve (especially with the wheel <<shudder>>), but it's exciting to experience new creative challenges. Here's some pictures of the very first things I've done – I appreciate the naive crudeness of everything right now, but am working to improve my technique!
